We are hiring a temporary, full-time Parts Technician to work at our Grande Prairie Head Office until the end of February 2027.
As the Parts Technician, you are responsible for:
We are hiring a temporary, full-time Parts Technician to work at our Grande Prairie Head Office until the end of February 2027.
As the Parts Technician, you are responsible for:
- Providing excellent customers service in-person, over the phone, via e-mail, or through Kenect by assisting them with their parts inquiries
- Processing customer’s parts purchases using Point of Rental (POR) and in accordance with Rentco’s procedures
- Supplying service technicians with parts ordered through parts requisition forms
- Verifying received shipments by checking order against shipping documents
- Reporting stock levels to Service Manager or Branch Manager, following up on shortages and reporting shortages to Manager
- Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge through dealer specific training, such as, but not limited to Bobcat, Husqvarna, Stihl, Honda, etc.
- Keeping parts department stocked and orderly by maintaining min and max levels
- Acting as a Counter Sales Representative when required including working on the front counter on a Saturday rotation
- Journeyman/Journeyperson Parts Technician (preferred), or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Intermediate computer skills with proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite and Windows
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ablity to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Ablity to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ablity to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Competitive wages (This position pays $40.20/hr. for a Journeyperson Parts Technician and $39.20/hr. for those with equivalent experience)
